The Humble Beginnings
Our adventure began with a handful of cards, each sketched with a passion that perhaps exceeded our artistic skills at the time. A Rocky Middle
As our game mechanics solidified, we ventured into new territory, seeking a design that matched our growing ambition. But not all attempts were met with success. Our first foray into a 'better' design didn't strike the chord we hoped for. The cards were cleaner, certainly more professional than our first attempts, but they lacked soul. They didn't speak "Gurgleyes" to us, nor did they echo the depth and delight of the world we were building. It was a tough pill to swallow, but we knew we couldn't settle. Our Gurgleyes deserved more.
A Design to Fall For
Fast forward through countless iterations, spirited debates, and many a late night, we arrived at the design you see today (attached). It's a design that has stolen our hearts and reignited our excitement every time we lay eyes on it.
